2023 Musical Theatre Camp – $375 per week (+HST)

Musical Theatre Camp 2023 DetailsDeveloped and led by Dora Award Nominated Actor, Samantha Piper (KinkyBoots), participants will receive training in singing, dancing, and acting, as they learn about what it takes to be a triple threat performer.

2023: Rock Star Hockey Camp – $515 per week

REGISTER NOWThe Zone Training & JamSchool have partnered to offer a Rock Star Hockey Camp!
Each player will participate in 1.5 hours of on-ice skill development 1 hour of dryland training and 3 hours of music lessons per day. The camp is geared toward beginner level musicians and participants will get a chance to try playing guitar, drums, keyboard or bass! Instruments are provided at no extra charge.

Camp FAQ

Q: What time is camp drop off and pick up?

A: Monday through Thursday at 225 Hanlon Creek Boulevard

  • Drop off between 8:30 and 9 am (extend hours are available upon request)
  • Pick up between 3:30 and 4:00 (extend hours are available upon request)
  • Pick up and drop off must be done by a parent or legal guardian – a sign in and sign out sheet will be at the desk

Friday at 225 Hanlon Creek Boulevard

  • Drop off between 8:30 and 9 am (extend hours are available upon request)
  • Concert at 3 pm

 

Q: How many kids are in each camp and how many instructors?

A: Camps are limited to 12 to 14 kids and there will be two JamSchool teachers on site running the camp with at least two older student volunteers. All of our teachers have done a police check.

Q: How much playing and practice will there be?

A: The campers will be practicing with their band for several hours every day and working towards recording their songs on Thursday as well as the show on Friday. Campers will also be doing band related crafts throughout the week – album covers, concert posters etc.

 

Q: Are there outdoor activities?

The campers will walk to either Lyon park on York Road or Miko Valeriote park on Elizabeth street on Monday through Thursday after lunch. A hat, sunscreen, shoes (not sandals) and a water bottle will be required for each camper.

 

Q: Are lunches provided? Are there any food restrictions?

A: Our camps are nut free! Campers will have to bring their own lunch and snacks. On Friday, pizza lunch will be provided for all campers. Please let us know of any dietary considerations.

 

Q: What is your policy regarding photos and video at rock camp?

A: Each band at Rock Camp will have a band photo taken which will be uploaded with the recordings of their songs to the website they create for their band. This will be private link that only people with the link will be able to view and no camper names will be included. If you would like to opt out of this or any other photo and videos, please let us know. Parents are welcome to take photos and videos at the end of week concert. Please do not share photos of kids other than your own on social media.
