Local Guelph songwriter Nathan Coles has been performing his original music to listening ears for some 25 years. Holding an 18 year residency at the Jimmy Jazz every Sunday night hosting an Open Stage, he has been able to make music with people at every level of performance.
From first timers to the famous Coles has lent his improvisational abilities on vocals, guitar, drums, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, ukulele, tin whistles, and almost anything that made a sound. Having toured Canada, Germany, and France, Coles was fortunate to perform his music on some nights to two people.. and other nights to thousands.
As a dedicated songwriter Nathan hopes to inspire and pass on this knowledge he has gained and give his students a chance to find out the kind of musician they are.
