JamSchool’s Adult Band Program is aimed at students over the age of 18 who are interested in learning a new instrument, jamming with friends, and/or performing in front of an audience. Our performance-based approach to music education uses popular music to teach key music concepts, while simultaneously work towards a shared goal of performing live. Our music instructors have many years of real-world experience in the music industry, as well as traditionally-structured music education, who understand the different demands and challenges unique to adult music education.

Students are placed in a group of 3 to 5 students of similar skill levels with common musical tastes. Students and teachers work together to decide which songs to learn, and will spend an hour each week in one of our many fully-stocked rehearsal studios. When ready, the band will perform at one of our “Adult Student Showcases”, complete with professional lighting, sound, and stage effects.

It’s never too late to learn an instrument, and JamSchool’s Adult Band Program has grown to accommodate the increasing demand for adult music education resources in our community.
