Janessa is a singer and guitarist from Guelph, Ontario; currently attending the University of Guelph for Theatre Studies. She received the Phil Di Nucci Theatre Award and has performed in many productions including as Cady Heron in Mean Girls (Kat Studios), Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia (Bishop Macdonell Productions), as well as many terms with Pop Nation Canada; including performing at the International Congress of Voice Teachers’s global conference in 2025 and writing an original song for one of their performances.
Janessa loves writing music on her guitar in her free time. She has studied voice throughout high school with Amanda Kind and is continuing to do so in university. Janessa is excited to share her love of music and performing through teaching at JamSchool!
