Harrison Little playing bagpipes

Harrison Little from Fergus has been playing the bagpipes since the age of 12, studying under Mike Baker, a longtime member of the world-renowned 78th Fraser Highlanders. Harrison has been a dedicated member of the Guelph Pipe Band since the age of 14, moving up through Grades 4, 3, and now 2. Along the way, he has helped the band capture three North American Championships and, more recently, played a key role in the band’s impressive international success — finishing 2nd at the 2024 European Pipe Band Championships and 4th at the 2024 World Pipe Band Championships.

He also performs with the Fergus Pipe Band and the Ontario Youth Pipe Band, where he recently served as Acting Pipe Major. A young and up-and-coming piper and performer, Harrison is an active solo competitor on the PPBSO circuit, currently competing at the top amateur level in Grade 1.

JamSchool is excited to welcome Harrison to our teaching team. His experience as both a competitor and performer, combined with his passion for developing the next generation of pipers, makes him a fantastic addition to our community.
