Honouring her strengths and passions, Amie Von Zuben has built a life surrounding herself with music and theatre. Since September 2025, Amie has worked as the singing teacher for Stagecoach Performing Arts Guelph, supporting the school in 7 musical theatre productions over the past year. With a history of performance in 10+ musicals, her most notable performances include Wednesday in The Addams Family and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In her most recent role, she took the stage as the Giant in Into the Woods at the University of Guelph where she is entering her 4th year of studying music and voice, with a concentration in professional performance.
In addition to her educational and theatrical pursuits, Amie writes and performs country music, often accompanying herself on the guitar. She spent the summer of 2025 performing in pubs and markets around Nova Scotia, alongside many well-seasoned Celtic, folk, and country musicians. Amie was invited to play her own set as a special guest to Evelyn McRae, inductee to the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, which is her most notable accomplishment in the country music industry thus far. Her education has also brought great experiences within the industry; in September of 2025 Amie was ecstatic to be invited to perform for and discuss the industry with The Reklaws, a popular Canadian country music duo.
With a knack and passion for music, as well as nurturing young minds, Amie firmly believes that children of all skill levels should have the opportunity to safely explore their musical potential. She is committed to providing a caring and diverse learning environment, where every student feels a sense of belonging and acceptance.
