Spencer Arn is JamSchool’s busiest and most in-demand drum teacher—and for good reason. With over 15 years on the team, Spencer has played a key role in developing some of the finest drummers to come out of Guelph, including Julian Dutton of the band Unbowed. A phenomenal drummer in his own right, Spencer has shared the stage with notable acts like Protest the Hero, bringing real-world experience into every lesson.
Spencer is known not just for his skill behind the kit, but for his ability to inspire, challenge, and elevate his students. His teaching style is defined by high expectations, precise technique, and a motivating mix of encouragement, structure, and humour. His students—and their parents—consistently praise him for his dedication, his gift for teaching, and the transformative impact he has on young musicians.
